Irani Samosa

Irani Samosa is also known as Onion Samosa – A crispy and utterly irresistible evening snack made from Onions and Poha (flattened rice) as main ingredients and spices. A Mixture of all ingredients filled in Samosa Patti / Spring Roll sheets and deep fried until golden brown. A perfectly spiced and delicious appetizer often served with a cup of evening hot Tea.

  • 1 cup finely chopped Onion

  • 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour

  • 1/2 cup Flattened Rice (Poha)

  • Finely chopped fresh Coriander

  • 1 tsp. Red Chilli Powder

  • 1 tsp. Powder Sugar

  • 1/2 tsp. Chaat Masala

  • 2 Green Chillies finely chopped

  • 1 tsp. crushed Fennel Seeds (Saunf)

  • 1 tsp. crushed Coriander Seeds (Dhania)

  • Salt to taste

  • Rani Gold Filtered Groundnut Oil
